Planning a last-minute wedding in Ipswich? At Isaacs Weddings we’re here to make life a little easier for you.
They say spontaneity is the spice of life, and you’d think in today’s fast-paced world, organising things that are a little last-minute would be easy. Arranging a last-minute wedding needs a lot of attention, though, and it can be daunting. This needn’t be the case and, with a check list in hand, together with the help of the Isaacs Weddings Coordinators, they can be a piece of cake.
One of our happy couples talks us through their last-minute wedding experience.
“When we decided to tie the knot, we didn’t leave ourselves with much time to prepare – just sixteen weeks, in fact. We’re used to doing things with short deadlines, but it wasn’t until we started to list the things we needed to get done that we realised the scale of the task ahead. First, we needed to find a venue.”
However long the planning phase, finding a suitable venue that’s available for your wedding will be one of the first items on your check list. Located on the waterfront in Ipswich and boasting beautiful timber-framed rooms in an historic setting, Isaacs offers a stunning wedding backdrop.
“When we found Isaacs was available, we knew we’d be able to get everything arranged in time. As a part of their last-minute wedding package, we had the help of one of their Wedding Coordinators. They came armed with a full list of contacts for everything from bridal hair and make-up through to flowers and photographers too.
“Marcella was hugely supportive and helped us to work out what needed doing and when. We quickly sent out save the date texts to our friends and family, giving us time to get official invitations in the post. Then the planning started in earnest!”
With the last-minute wedding package at Isaacs on the Quay, you can rest assured that the main aspects of your happy day will be taken care of.
As well as your wedding ceremony, which takes place in the beautiful Sale Room, together with 72 guests you will be able to enjoy welcome drinks in the private gardens and the option of either a barbecue or a three-course wedding breakfast.
Your evening reception – in our top floor and private garden – can extend to up to 150 guests and includes a buffet too.
“With Isaacs, nothing was too much trouble. We explained what we had in mind and they set it up for us – right down to the food and drink we wanted on the day. Everything was perfect.
“Isaacs also had our wedding accommodation sorted. As well as needing a room for bride-to be beautification, with guests coming from far and wide, we needed a venue that could also put friends and family up. Merchant’s House was a home away from home for us. Perfect for the night before and for our wedding night and a great cost saving, too.”
Accommodating up to fourteen people, Merchant’s Guest House is a welcoming space just next door to Isaacs. For the bride-to-be, getting ready to tie the knot here is easy, with the space for hairdressers and beauticians to come to you in calm and comfortable surroundings.
“When we set the date for our wedding, we left ourselves with little time to prepare. But we can honestly say that, with the help of Isaacs Weddings, we wouldn’t have had it any other way.”
